Because the installations of it's elite membership consistently give so little trouble, the Federation is able to keep members' premiums and fees to an absolute cost effective minimum.

Commercial insurance issued through the Federation covers not only commercial and industrial premises but also meets a long-standing need by providing cover for flats and houses owned and rented out by local authorities, housing associations and other private and public bodies in the event of the installer ceasing to trade.

The Federation also provides a finance facility for its members administered via PWF Advantage, utilising the facilities of Optima Consumer Credit Ltd.

FENSA / Certass

All UK companies will now be aware of FENSA / Certass and the introduction on 1st April 2002 of the new regulations concerning installations.

Any member of PWF who is a FENSA registered installer can utilise the PWF's facility of registering installations on its behalf onto the FENSA database, saving time and money for it's members.

We are still without doubt the leading Federation, providing insurance protection for deposits and installations together with a range of other services, enabling you to demonstrate to customers that you put their interests first.

PWF Advantage

This is a facility uniquely available to members of PWF, providing finance of all types to member companies and their customers.

This facility is available through Optima Consumer Credit Limited who are consumer credit brokers based in Sheffield and are able to offer home improvement loans in respect of the purchase of conservatories, windows and doors, roofline products etc.

They are able to provide all types of loans including secured and unsecured and indeed have a large portfolio of finance companies to help raise money for home improvements at very competitive rates.
